Network Q 3 Years Warranty Terms and Conditions
1. DEFINITIONS
In this Agreement, some words have defined meanings. They are shown below in bold:

Registered number 1883565 - Vauxhall Authorised Repairer – A repairer authorised by Us to effect repairs on Your Vehicle.
- Mechanical and Electrical Breakdown - The sudden and unforeseen failure of a Warranted Part, not by wear and tear, normal deterioration or negligence. We are not liable for Warranted Parts that have reached the end of their normal working lives because of age or usage.
- Purchase Price - The original purchase price of the Vehicle as detailed on the Schedule.
- Vehicle - The vehicle details as set out on the Schedule.
- Warranted Part/s - All parts except for those listed as exclusions in section 4 below.
- Warranty Period - The warranty period stated on the Schedule, up to a maximum of 100,000 miles from date of first registration of the Vehicle.

2. ELIGIBILITY AND TERM
In order to be eligible for cover under this Warranty Your Vehicle:
- Must be less than 1 years old and have less than 30,000 miles on the odometer at the date of purchase of Your Vehicle.
- Must not be one of the following: All LCV's, Ascari KZ1, AC, Audi S Models, Aston Martin, Bentley, BMW M Series, Bristol, Bugatti, Caterham, Daimler, De Tomaso, Dodge SRT10, Ford GT, Ferrari, Ford Galaxy, Gumpert Apollo, Honda NSX, Invicta, Jensen, Lamborghini, Lister, Lotus, Mazda RX7 & RX8, Marcos, Maserati, Maybach, McLaren, Mercedes Benz (S Class), Mitsubishi Evo Series, Morgan, Nissan 350Z & Skyline Models, Noble, Pagani Zonda, Porsche, Rolls Royce, Subaru Turbo Models, TVR, Toyota Supra, VW Phaeton, Volvo T and R Models, Westfield, all American, Australian and Canadian cars (unless built for the UK), stretched limousines, kit cars, cars modified outside manufacturer's specification.
- Must not be used for hire or reward, professional instruction, competition or off-road use, motor rally, motor racing, speed or duration tests or any practice for these events, whether they are timed or untimed.
- Must not be a Vehicle used in a public service capacity, for example within a police force, military service or fire service. This Network Q Warranty will incept upon the expiry of the Vauxhall Manufacturers Warranty, (at either 36 months from date of Registration or 60,000 miles). The total term of Warranty Coverage (Manufactuer's Warranty and Network Q Warranty) will equate to 3 years coverage from date of vehicle purchase.
3. COVERAGE
3.1 Level of Cover - All Mechanical and Electrical Warranty cover
We will pay for replacement parts and labour, should Your Vehicle require repairs following a sudden Mechanical or Electrical Breakdown during the Warranty Period, up to a maximum of 100,000 miles from date of first registration of the Vehicle. This covers all mechanical and electrical parts other than those specifically listed as excluded under Section 4 below.
Please note: Replacement of drive belts, filters, lubricants, antifreeze and fluids required because of the failure of a Warranted Part, is covered by the Warranty. Consequential damage to a part is covered if it is caused by a Warranted Part, but this excludes any damage which is cosmetic in nature.
The Warranty will be valid for the duration of the Warranty Period or 100,000 miles (whichever is sooner), subject to the terms and conditions contained herein. Our total limit of liability under the Warranty shall not exceed the Purchase Price of the Vehicle as detailed on Your Schedule.
3.2 Additional Benefits
If a repair to Your Vehicle is necessary under this Warranty You may benefit from the following:

Car Hire
Costs for car hire for up to 7 days at a maximum of £100 per day (inclusive of VAT) will be covered subject to the following conditions:- i) You accept responsibility for the entire cost of the first 24 hours of car hire; and
- ii) The cost of the car hire is within the overall Warranty limit; and
- iii) The failure has completely disabled the Vehicle; and
- iv) The hired vehicle is of a like kind and quality rented from a bona fide rental operator or Vauxhall Authorised Repairer; and
- v) The hire period is limited to the period the Vehicle is in the workshop undergoing repairs or a maximum of 7 days, whichever is less; and
- vi) The daily amount includes VAT but excludes fuel and insurance.
- Recovery
We will pay for towing charges up to £100 including VAT. -
Overnight Accommodation
In respect of overnight accommodation, up to £75 per occurrence (inclusive of VAT) provided that:- i) Mechanical or Electrical Breakdown of the Vehicle has occurred outside a 50 mile radius of Your address or intended overnight accommodation; and
- ii) The Vehicle cannot be repaired during the day of the Mechanical or Electrical Breakdown; and
- iii) A relief vehicle is not available.
- Continental Use
The Warranty shall apply whilst Your Vehicle is in any country of the EU or European Free Trade Association (EFTA) for a period of not more than 60 days in any 12 month period, with the limit of cover restricted to the equivalent United Kingdom rate for labour charges and parts at manufacturer's list prices as applicable at the date of the Mechanical or Electrical Breakdown.
4. EXCLUSIONS
The following parts are excluded from cover:

General
- i. All bodywork, handles and hinges, interior/exterior trim, brightwork, paint, glass, weather-strips, rubber seals, sheet metal, sun roof panels, carpets, seat belts, wiper arms/blades, wheels and tyres, wheel alignment/balancing, adjustments.
- ii. Service items – service items and other components subject to routine maintenance or periodic repair or replacement.
- iii. Items which do not form part of the manufacturer's original specifications of the Vehicle.
- Timing belts – Unless there is proof that the manufacturer's replacement recommendations have been complied with, and they are free from oil contamination.
- Casings – Unless damage has been caused to the cylinder block, gearbox and axle, as a direct result of the failure of a Warranted Part.
- Working materials – Unless working materials and supplies such as oils, filters and anti-freeze are required as a direct result of the failure of a Warranted Part.
- Clutch – Where the condition is due to wear and tear or the clutch is burnt out.
- Brakes – Brake discs, brake pads, brake linings/shoes.
- Contaminated Fuel – The clearing of fuel lines, filters, injection systems, carburettors and pumps/nozzles and any resulting damage to covered components from the use of contaminated or incorrect grade fuel.
- Electrical Accessories – Bulbs, lamps/lenses (if the vehicle is fitted with adaptive lighting and the sensor fails, then the Warranty will pay for a replacement light unit), batteries, fuses, wiring harness, wiring terminals and remaking of disturbed electrical connections, car telephones. Any in-car entertainment units, unless factory fitted where We will pay up to £200 including VAT on each occasion.
- Miscellaneous Items – Water ingress, exhaust system (with the exception of the catalytic convertor which is covered where the Vehicle is under 5 years old, with less than 60,000 miles registered on the odometer at the date of the Mechanical Breakdown), auxillary drive belts, brackets, mountings, tappings, supports, fixings and fastening devices, fuel tank, corrosion, rubber hoses, pipes and unions and air bags.
This Warranty does not cover any Mechanical or Electrical Breakdown in the following circumstances:
- Consequential damage to a part unless it is caused by a Warranted Part in which case it will be covered, although cosmetic damage is excluded.
- We are not liable for consequential loss however caused.
- If the Vehicle is used for hire or reward, professional instruction, competition or off-road use, motor rally, motor racing, speed or duration tests or any practice for these events, whether timed or untimed.
- The Vehicle's performance gradually reduces as its age and mileage increase. This includes, but is not limited to, gradual loss of engine compression requiring the repair of valves or rings and the gradual increase in the oil consumption due to normal operating functions. This Warranty will not pay for deterioration of this type.
- If the fault causing the part failure existed before the Warranty came into effect, the Warranty will not pay that repair.
- The damage must not be caused by any of the following: fire; water ingress; corrosion; frost; floods; snow-affected roads or embedding in mud or sand; a recurring problem where You have not sought repair advice from a Vauxhall Authorised Repairer; failure to respond to a manufacturer's recall; not maintaining Your Vehicle in a safe and roadworthy condition; improper repair; intentional damage or injury; loss or damage to the contents of Your Vehicle; the theft of Your Vehicle; participating in a criminal act; wilful exposure to danger; any type of accident; any failure of a cosmetic nature only; being under the influence of drugs (unless medically supervised) or alcohol; misuse or neglect; any unlawful act or omission; acts of war or God; nuclear explosion; sonic boom or radioactivity.
- Where the Warranty holder's Vehicle insurance should pay for a repair or will deem the Vehicle to be a write-off, then the Vehicle insurance should be used and not the Warranty.
- Any damage to parts which are or have been recalled by the Vehicle's manufacturer or which have inherent design faults.
- Where the speedometer or odometer has been interfered with, altered or disconnected.
- Where a modification to the Vehicle which has not been approved by Us contributes to a fault.
- The Administrator reserves the right to reject Your claim if You decide to take Your Vehicle to a repairer other than a Vauxhall Authorised Repairer.
- Where You make a false claim, this Warranty will be cancelled and You will forfeit all benefit.
5. SERVICING REQUIREMENTS
What to do to keep the warranty valid
- For Vehicles up to 36 months old and with less than 60,000 miles on the odometer from the date of first registration, you must have Your Vehicle serviced and repaired in accordance with the manufacturer's service schedule using genuine Vauxhall parts or parts of equal quality including oils and at intervals as stated in the Service and Warranty Booklet that is provided with Your glovebox literature.
- For Vehicles beyond 36 months old or with more than 60,000 miles on the odometer from the date of first registration, whichever occurs first, You must have Your Vehicle serviced and repaired by a Vauxhall Authorised Repairer in accordance with the manufacturer’s service schedule using genuine Vauxhall parts or parts of equal quality including oils and at intervals as stated in the Service and Warranty Booklet that is provided with Your glovebox literature.
- We may request details of the service history at any time during the Network Q Warranty period.
- You must keep all receipts and invoices and We may request details of the service history at any time during the Warranty Period. Failure to comply with these requirements will invalidate Your Warranty.
6. REPORTING A MECHANICAL OR ELECTRICAL BREAKDOWN
If You suspect a failure:
- DO NOT continue to use the Vehicle. This may aggravate the problem and cause greater damage, for which We will not be liable.

If You consider the fault to be covered by the Warranty, DO NOT proceed with repairs until they have been authorised by the Administrator.
- Take Your Vehicle to a Vauxhall Authorised Repairer within 7 days of the incident occurring.
- The Vauxhall Authorised Repairer will input details of the Mechanical or Electrical Breakdown onto the Claims system in order to gain the relevant authority number.
- The Administrator may authorise repairs immediately or investigate the claim further and/or appoint an independent assessor to inspect the Vehicle.
- When repairs are authorised a repair authority number will be given, however acceptance of liability is conditional on the terms and conditions of this Warranty having been adhered to, e.g. servicing of the Vehicle in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.

On completion of repairs, the Vauxhall Authorised Repairer will send the following documents to the Administrator, at the address above:
- A fully itemised invoice to General Motors UK Limited, C/O TWG Services Limited.
- Evidence of service history, including invoices, from the start date of the Warranty.
- The Administrator will reimburse You or the Vauxhall Authorised Repairer, subject to the terms and conditions of the Warranty. If a balance is due, You must pay it directly to the Vauxhall Authorised Repairer.
- If it is necessary to have Your Vehicle repaired in any country of the EU or European Free Trade Association (EFTA) under Continental Use, You will not require authorisation from the Administrator. In the event that the fault is covered under this Warranty, We will reimburse the cost of repair following Your return to the UK. In this event please contact the Administrator on the Customer Services number 0844 854 0932 for instructions on how to proceed. If Your claim is valid, You will be reimbursed in pounds sterling at the prevailing rate of exchange on the date the repair was completed. The maximum we will pay is the equivalent UK rate for labour charges and manufacturer’s list prices for parts at the date of Your repair, up to the Purchase Price of Your Vehicle.
The total value of the repair work completed during the Warranty Period is limited to the Purchase Price of Your Vehicle.
- The cost of investigation work can only be authorised by You and You will remain responsible for meeting that cost in the event that the repair is not covered by the Warranty.
- Claims will be handled by the Administrator and We reserve the right to have the Vehicle inspected by an independent engineer prior to any work being carried out.
- All replaced parts become the property of the Vauxhall Authorised Repairer.
7. GENERAL
Additional Information
- The Warranty can be transferred to the next owner of the Vehicle by calling the Administrator on 0844 854 0932 to request a Transfer of Ownership Form. The transfer fee is £25 including VAT.
- Telephone calls made in connection with Your Warranty may be monitored as part of training and quality assurance processes.
- Misinformation: If any information provided to Us by You or anyone acting on Your behalf is inaccurate or if You fail to disclose any information which might reasonably affect Our decision to provide cover to You or Our assessment of Your claim, Your cover under this Warranty shall end and no refund shall be due.
- Governing Law: Both You and We are free to choose the law applicable to this contract. Unless specifically agreed to the contrary prior to the Warranty inception, this Warranty shall be subject to English Law.
- Geographical Limits: The benefits under this Warranty may only be granted to individuals residing, or corporate bodies registered in the United Kingdom.
- Cancellation: This Warranty may be cancelled within 14 days of receipt of this document with a full refund, however after the initial 14 day period no refund will be due. We will only consider a pro-rata refund if the Vehicle has been written off or in the event of Your death and provided no claims have been made.
8. COMPLAINTS
If You have a complaint regarding this Warranty You should in the first instance contact the Administrator at Network Q Used Vehicle Warranty Administration Department, TWG Services Limited, Floor 2, The Aspen Building, Mitcheldean, Glos, GL17 0AF. If You are not satisfied with the response You may write to the Administration Director at the same address.

None of the above affects any right to legal action.
9. DATA PROTECTION AUTHORISATION STATEMENT
In processing and managing this agreement, the Administrator will collect and store the information You have provided in their secure database located in the United Kingdom. The Administrator will pass on Your information to General Motors UK Limited.
In compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998, You are entitled to ask the Administrator to amend Our records about You if they are not correct, and You may request a copy of the information they hold about You by applying to the Administrator in writing addressed to: Customers Relations Team, TWG, The Aspen Building, Floor 2, Vantage Point Business Village, Mitcheldean Gloucestershire GL17 0AF.For which the Administrator may charge You the statutory fee of £10.
General Motors UK Limited will store this information about You now and in the future for marketing purposes including telemarketing, market research and tracking of sales data. General Motors UK Limited may also disclose this information within international group of companies (GM Group) and its retailers and other organisations acting on General Motors UK Limited's behalf for the above purposes. If You prefer this not to happen please write to Us at Vauxhall Customer Assistance Centre, Griffin House, Osborne Road, Luton LU1 3YT with Your name, address and registration number. Every effort has been made to ensure that the contents of this publication were accurate and up-to-date at the time of going to press (April 2011) However, TWG reserves the right to make modifications at any time. Modifications will be notified to Vauxhall Authorised Retailers at the earliest opportunity; please consult Your local retailer for the latest information.

- Must not be a Vehicle used in a public service capacity, for example within a police force, military service or fire service.
3. COVERAGE
3.1 Level of Cover - All Mechanical and Electrical Warranty cover
We will pay for replacement parts and labour, should Your Vehicle require repairs following a sudden Mechanical or Electrical Breakdown during the Warranty Period, up to a maximum of 100,000 miles from date of first registration of the Vehicle. This covers all mechanical and electrical parts other than those specifically listed as excluded under Section 4 below.

- You must keep all receipts and invoices and We may request details of the service history at any time during the Warranty Period.
Failure to comply with these requirements will invalidate Your Warranty.
6. REPORTING A MECHANICAL OR ELECTRICAL BREAKDOWN
If You suspect a failure:
- DO NOT continue to use the Vehicle. This may aggravate the problem and cause greater damage, for which We will not be liable.

If You consider the fault to be covered by the Warranty, DO NOT proceed with repairs until they have been authorised by the Administrator.
- Take Your Vehicle to a Vauxhall Authorised Repairer within 7 days of the incident occurring.
- The Vauxhall Authorised Repairer will input details of the Mechanical or Electrical Breakdown onto the Claims system in order to gain the relevant authority number.
- The Administrator may authorise repairs immediately or investigate the claim further and/or appoint an independent assessor to inspect the Vehicle.
- When repairs are authorised a repair authority number will be given, however acceptance of liability is conditional on the terms and conditions of this Warranty having been adhered to, e.g. servicing of the Vehicle in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.

On completion of repairs, the Vauxhall Authorised Repairer will send the following documents to the Administrator, at the address above:
- A fully itemised invoice to General Motors UK Limited, C/O TWG Services Limited.
- Evidence of service history, including invoices, from the start date of the Warranty.
- The Administrator will reimburse You or the Vauxhall Authorised Repairer, subject to the terms and conditions of the Warranty. If a balance is due, You must pay it directly to the Vauxhall Authorised Repairer.
- If it is necessary to have Your Vehicle repaired in any country of the EU or European Free Trade Association (EFTA) under Continental Use, You will not require authorisation from the Administrator. In the event that the fault is covered under this Warranty, We will reimburse the cost of repair following Your return to the UK. In this event please contact the Administrator on the Customer Services number 0844 854 0932 for instructions on how to proceed. If Your claim is valid, You will be reimbursed in pounds sterling at the prevailing rate of exchange on the date the repair was completed. The maximum we will pay is the equivalent UK rate for labour charges and manufacturer's list prices for parts at the date of Your repair, up to the Purchase Price of Your Vehicle.
The total value of the repair work completed during the Warranty Period is limited to the Purchase Price of Your Vehicle.
- The cost of investigation work can only be authorised by You and You will remain responsible for meeting that cost in the event that the repair is not covered by the Warranty.
- Claims will be handled by the Administrator and We reserve the right to have the Vehicle inspected by an independent engineer prior to any work being carried out.
- All replaced parts become the property of the Vauxhall Authorised Repairer.
7. GENERAL
Additional Information
- The Warranty can be transferred to the next owner of the Vehicle by calling the Administrator on 0844 854 0932 to request a Transfer of Ownership Form. The transfer fee is £25 including VAT.
- Telephone calls made in connection with Your Warranty may be monitored as part of training and quality assurance processes.
- Misinformation: If any information provided to Us by You or anyone acting on Your behalf is inaccurate or if You fail to disclose any information which might reasonably affect Our decision to provide cover to You or Our assessment of Your claim, Your cover under this Warranty shall end and no refund shall be due.
- Governing Law: Both You and We are free to choose the law applicable to this contract. Unless specifically agreed to the contrary prior to the Warranty inception, this Warranty shall be subject to English Law.
- Geographical Limits: The benefits under this Warranty may only be granted to individuals residing, or corporate bodies registered in the United Kingdom.
- Cancellation: This Warranty may be cancelled within 14 days of receipt of this document with a full refund, however after the initial 14 day period no refund will be due. We will only consider a pro-rata refund if the Vehicle has been written off or in the event of Your death and provided no claims have been made.
8. COMPLAINTS
If You have a complaint regarding this Warranty You should in the first instance contact the Administrator at Network Q Used Vehicle Warranty Administration Department, TWG Services Limited, Floor 2, The Aspen Building, Mitcheldean, Glos, GL17 0AF. If You are not satisfied with the response You may write to the Administration Director at the same address.

None of the above affects any right to legal action.
9. DATA PROTECTION AUTHORISATION STATEMENT
In processing and managing this agreement, the Administrator will collect and store the information You have provided in their secure database located in the United Kingdom. The Administrator will pass on Your information to General Motors UK Limited.
In compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998, You are entitled to ask the Administrator to amend Our records about You if they are not correct, and You may request a copy of the information they hold about You by applying to the Administrator in writing addressed to: Customers Relations Team, TWG, The Aspen Building, Floor 2, Vantage Point Business Village, Mitcheldean Gloucestershire GL17 0AF. For which the Administrator may charge You the statutory fee of £10.
General Motors UK Limited will store this information about You now and in the future for marketing purposes including telemarketing, market research and tracking of sales data. General Motors UK Limited may also disclose this information within international group of companies (GM Group) and its retailers and other organisations acting on General Motors UK Limited’s behalf for the above purposes. If You prefer this not to happen please write to Us at Vauxhall Customer Assistance Centre, Griffin House, Osborne Road, Luton LU1 3YT with Your name, address and registration number.
